Jen Eskridge, a seasoned quilter and educator, is here to help you master wholecloth quilting and boost your free-motion quilting confidence on your domestic or long-arm machine. Wholecloth quilting is a fantastic way to develop your skills by focusing on one piece of fabric, allowing you to practice motifs, refine techniques, and build confidence without the distraction of piecing. This approach is ideal for quilters looking to experiment with different designs and textures in a no-pressure, low-cost setting.

In this course, you'll begin by gathering your supplies and setting personal quilting goals. After prepping your fabric, you’ll learn how to use a 15" stencil to mark quilting guidelines and practice drawing and arranging motifs. Then, you’ll dive into quilting, exploring different ways to fill the isolated shapes while learning how design density impacts your final quilt. Along the way, Jen will share tips on covering mistakes and creating smooth shapes like feathers and pebbles. Each time you quilt along with this course, you'll create a unique piece, ending with a stunning mini wholecloth quilt, finished with binding, facing, or mounted on a canvas. Your project will reflect your quilt journey and showcase new techniques.
