From Fabric to Flowers, Unlock the Secrets of English Paper Piecing

In Hexie Flowers 101, Becky shares various methods for preparing fabric shapes, basting, stitching, knotting, and sewing Y-seams. First, she’ll cover the supplies needed that are easy to access and inexpensive. Next, you’ll learn how to fussy cut, a fun technique that allows you to showcase a fabric motif on your hexies. Becky demonstrates a variety of ways to prep the fabric shapes and different ways to baste the fabric to paper, allowing you to choose what works best for you. Once you have a bunch of hexies prepared, learn how to whip-stitch them together to make a hexie flower.
