LIVE with the Shibaguyz

Woven Bamboo

RECORDING from June 29th, 2021

This is your invitation to take that first step with us on your moyouzashi sashiko journey. Moyouzashi sashiko is one of the forms of sashiko: the Japanese hand stitching technique for mending, reinforcing, and enhancing fabric. Woven bamboo is a combination of two stitch patterns that we use for visible mending, quilting, and general embellishment and we’re going to take you through each phase of making this stitch pattern and show you examples of how to use it in your crafting and making.

Whether you are looking to learn a new hand stitching craft or want to kick up your visible mending, embroidery, or quilting skills, come take your first steps with us and start your sashiko journey today!
