Creative Spark Online Learning from C&T Publishing

Years ago, the C&T Publishing team started kicking around the idea of creating workshops with our authors. In 2020, the vision became a reality with a herculean undertaking led by a staff of 25 people. Creative Spark Online Learning is especially important now that our community is craving connection, inspiration, and creativity. 

The goal is to provide our authors, who, before 2020, were traveling and teaching their love of crafts at in-person events,  a chance to share their creative skills, vision, and years of expertise with everyone, online. We don’t mean to brag, but C&T Publishing authors are made up of the best in the business. Our authors are award-winning artists, teachers, and masters in their field, internationally known and loved by adoring students.  Each Creative Spark instructor will challenge you to be more creative, expand your skillset and learn something new. 

Creative Spark began with a cohort of authors and C&T staff members. 15 of us designed the Creative Spark experience to meet you, the students' needs. The authors in our cohort have a combined experience of 70 years of teaching, they know what works and how to be a fun, engaging instructor.  We are thrilled to bring you a unique online learning experience that allows you to work at your own pace and get one-on-one feedback from your instructor.  Whether you are a beginner looking to dive into a new craft or an advanced creator seeking a challenge, there is a course for you. Our instructors are not just teachers, but Creative Spark Online Learning partners, and together we are working towards providing an unparalleled holistic workshop experience.

From their studio to yours, Creative Spark instructors are teaching you how to create. They are here to champion, support,  inspire, and motivate you from their own personal studios. So not only do you get a look inside their creative space, you also get to be a part of engaging courses that would typically be a one or multi-day workshop from the comfort of your home. Even better: you get to be a part of a bespoke experience with unique student groups, live virtual meet-ups, feedback sessions, Q+A with your instructors...and more. Creative Spark is not your one-size-fits-all online learning experience. We welcome you to be who you are, share, create, and belong.
