Liberated Methods for Skyscrapers

I love your liberated methods for skyscrapers. Also, easy-to-follow illustrations and photos, interesting information for us country folk who haven’t been to the big cities, and prompts to try wild colors. And it’s scrap busting, though my scrap piles never decrease!

Detailed, Clear, and Informative

I've been a quilter for over 30 years, learned a lot, and have a vast quilting library. Never have I met a teacher like you. The materials you prepared for us, especially here, in the building workshop - are so detailed, so clear, and you gave us so much information- sharing your knowledge with us. It makes me want to create wonderful things, so you'll have satisfaction from teaching us. I literally sat and made each and every page, just to practice, and because it's fun. thank you so very much!

Seeing Buildings in a New Way!crascraa

Your teaching style, and pace are great for me. I have sewn 6 buildings and have enjoyed myself more than should be legal. It really is fun to make buildings along with you. I enjoy the tours of cities, especially those I haven’t yet seen (but wish I could!) You have me looking at buildings in a whole new way!

Great Instruction

You are truly a great teacher! Plus your work is just beautiful. I love your use of colors and shapes. Everything I watched so far was very well explained. I'm a very anxious person in classes, but as I watched the intro and got to the treasure hunt, I was thinking 'This is great instruction, I think I can do this!'

Impressed!

I can tell that you have put a lot of thought, effort and time into this class. I am impressed!. You have done an amazing job. The handouts and your videos are very clear and detailed. You explain why you do things a certain way. You are very generous in sharing your expertise.

Enjoyable and Interesting

The class was enjoyable and interesting. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There were different techniques for piecing and appliqué. I picked up many useful tips and tricks. I enjoyed hearing Cathy talk about her process for designing and assembling the buildings and city. There is definitely a cityscape quilt in my future!
