Welcome to Creative Spark, your online learning platform for crafts brought to you by C&T Publishing. Before you submit a proposal we want to share with you our expectations for what a course needs to be successful.
We commit to providing you and your students with a delightful experience on the Creative Spark Online Learning platform.
We will handle all aspects of platform management and development, including:
■ course landing pages
■ polished course descriptions
■ course builder support
■ course review prior to going live
■ customer support
■ payment management.
We commit to timely monthly payouts, rocking social media advertisements, organic promotions, and email marketing that will have students clamoring for your courses.
You will be supported through the process by our very own in-house course builders who can help take your concept and turn it into a class. With our platform, you create your course and deliver it however you want, with the amount of student and community interaction you choose. Best of all, we've established a generous revenue share that is sure to put a smile on your face.
The process starts with your commitment to delivering a dynamic, quality course that delivers on the promises of your outline and sample video. Building an online course will take a significant amount of time and energy. Even if you have been traveling and teaching for years, converting your classes to video is a big deal and needs some thoughtful consideration.
By submitting your proposal, you are agreeing to the following terms:
1. Creating the content and building a course will take time, approximately 20-40 hours, and you are willing to put forth that time in creating your content
2. Your tasks will include planning, preparing, and recording videos. This video must then be edited, compressed uploaded before you can begin building the course on the platform
3. Intellectual Property Rights: C&T Publishing is contracting for non-exclusive rights for the learning platform, and the instructor remains the owner of the content. One exception will be if the video content is directly from a book or product because these rights have been previously secured in the Publishing Agreement by who published it, including C&T Publishing. Please contact us if you have questions regarding this.
4. The Revenue Share is based on the time, tasks, and follow-up you are willing to commit to the platform. In most cases, the instructor plans, films, edits, builds and uploads materials to the platform. To complete the course-building process, Creative Spark will provide course-building tutorials and support cohorts. The standard revenue share is 50/50 with all processing fees and site fees being covered by Creative Spark. If Creative Spark does the filming the standard share is 70/30.
5. All course interaction, community discussions, live events, website, and social media commitments are handled by you, the author, per the contract agreement
