  • Creative Adventurer
  • Motif Master
  • Color Sorcerer

Sue Beevers is a lifelong creative and adventurer. Her creativity extends into art and cello. She started as a weaver, dyer, and spinner, which she still loves. The majority of my time is spent quilting, weaving, knitting/crocheting, drawing and painting. Her biggest kick in life is to watch people take something they already know and look at it differently. It's what she dearly loves. Sue’s life also revolves around being outside. Her primary interest is in the world's natural cycles— seasonal changes and the processes of growing things.

Above all things, Sue is a cellist and cello teacher at Hamilton College in Upstate New York. She’s been married to her husband, David, for more than 50 years. She has two grown children and two grandchildren. She teaches quilting, weaving, and other fiber arts and has designed multiple fabric lines for Northcott. Sue's pattern company is Trillium Ridge Quilt Patterns.
