Frequently Asked Questions: General Customer Services Issues

  • How long do I have access to my course?

There is no expiration on our courses (unless noted next to the BUY NOW button-a rare occurrence!). The exception to this is the FREE courses. Free courses can be accessed for 1 year. You can re-sign up for a FREE course if it has expired. If you purchased a course before 2022, it may have said you had 1-year access. We have updated everyone's accounts so you also have access to your courses and lectures going forward. If you see an issue, please let us know.

  • Why can I only buy one course at a time?

Our platform does not have a "shopping cart" function so each course is a separate transaction. Hopefully that function will be available in the future.

  • I have a coupon code. Where do I enter it?

There will be text on the purchase page on the right side that says, “Have a coupon.” Click there! If you are using a mobile device, tablet, or small computer window, you may not see the coupon spot. Click on "View order summary" at the top of the screen. The screen will expand to reveal the "Have a coupon" text.

  • I bought a course by mistake. Can I get a refund?

If it is a self directed course and you have not watched the course, we can refund you when requested within 7 days of purchase. We can give refunds on Live Courses only if the the live event is more than 30 days from refund request.

  • How can I give a course as a gift?

We have a page with step-by-step instructions on purchasing a course as a gift: https://creativespark.ctpub.com/pages/Gift

  • Why is the Live portion of the course separate from the main course?

Sometimes it is easier to add students and allow them longer access to the main course materials. Some courses have the live elements embed in the course. Some will show up in your student dashboard as a separate course. This allows us to add students to the Live sections after they have purchased a course as well.

  • Are my payment details secure?

Yes, your credit card information is safe. We use secure servers and encryption protocol to make certain your personal information is unavailable to others. Once encrypted, your data cannot be read as it is transmitted over the Internet.

  • Payment Plan Information

The payment plan feature allows students to pay for a class through an automated payment collected each month. These payments are automatically charged to the student's credit card on their monthly billing date. The student's monthly billing date is set by the date they enrolled in the course and started the payment plan. The student will no longer be billed on their monthly billing date once the total months has been completed.

  • Can I offer a class on Creative Spark?

We are always looking for new content and teachers. For more information on what is involved and how to make a proposal, check out the link in the footer: Become a teacher.
