All Your Answers About Creative Spark Virtual Events

Whether you've purchased a seat at one of our events or are thinking about signing up, we compiled all the commonly asked questions in one spot with the answers to help you attend with confidence.  We divided the questions into three categories below.

Before the Virtual Event FAQs

  • How long do I have access to the recordings?

    The recordings DO NOT expire so you can replay them to your heart's delight! You can find the recordings when you access the event course on your account dashboard.

  • What do I need to do to prepare for the event?

    First you will need to log into your Creative Spark account and the event materials will live. There you can read about each sessions topic and instructor. You’ll also find, the session schedule for the day. If you are attending LIVE, you’ll also want to make sure you have the most updated version of Zoom installed on your computer or smart device.

  • Include questions a potential student may have before purchase.

    In order to access the event course on your Creative Spark account, you will need to navigate to your account dashboard. Once logged in, click "My Dashboard" in the upper right-hand corner of the website. Your dashboard will show all the Creative Spark courses you have enrolled in. Find the course with the name of the LIVE event and click "Start Course" or "Resume Course" to access the class. What if I still don’t see the course listed? Consider whether or not you have used a different email address to set up your Creative Spark account. If you still cannot see your course materials, please contact Creative Spark Customer Care ([email protected]).

  • How do you view the live event?

    The LIVE event is hosted via Zoom. The recordings, swag and resources are within the Event Course on Creative Spark.

  • Where do I find the Zoom link?

    Approximately 24 hours before the event we will post the Zoom Link and passcode (if needed) in your course materials. You will also receive an email with a direct link to the Zoom room the day before and an hour before the event.

  • Do I need to choose which lectures I would like to watch LIVE ahead of time?

    It is a good idea to take a look at the instructor lineup and course descriptions to get a general idea of what will be taught, however, you DO NOT need to choose or notify us of your preferences ahead of time. We limit admission to the event to ensure that everyone enrolled has an equal opportunity to watch their preferred sessions.

During the Event FAQs

  • Do I have to be present for the entire LIVE event? What if I can’t attend or end up with a schedule conflict?

    No. Enrollment in the LIVE event gives you lifetime access to the recordings. You can log into your Creative Spark account to view the recordings at any time. Come when you can, leave when you must!

  • How do I get to watch the sessions I want to see LIVE if I don't sign up ahead of time?

    We use Zoom Polls to help folks pick the room they want to watch and place them in that breakout room. The poll will pop up on your device, you click on the Room you want and then submit. We have a video below that will explain what it looks like on each device type.

  • Can I leave a breakout room if I decide I want to view a different lecture?

    Absolutely! You will need to click on the button at the bottom that says “Leave”. Choose “Leave Breakout Room” to be put back in the main room where someone will be waiting to help you navigate to the next session of your choice. What if I accidentally leave the entire LIVE event? You can always come back during the LIVE session by clicking on the Zoom Room invite link.

Event Recordings, Swag Bag and Special Sale FAQs

  • How do I access the recordings?

    We do our best to post the recordings within 24-48 hours of the LIVE Event end. We will send you an email as soon as we have added them to the Event Course.

  • Where do I find the Virtual Swag Bag and Special Sale Link?

    When you open the Live Event course, the left-hand side has your course menu. The menu may be collapsed if you are on a phone or tablet. Under the "Welcome" section, click the lesson that says "Virtual Swag and Special Sale". The Sale Link is available for a limited number of days after the event.
